Study Tips!! They should sound familiar!

1. Remember to utilize Cornell note taking! I taught you this strategy for a reason!!
2.  When reading, remember to look for the topic sentences and the supporting points in whatever form of reading you are encountering! This will help you identify the necessary elements of a reading.
3.  Take notes in an outline format- Headings - Supporting points  - Examples
4. When reading fiction- use the close reading questions that I gave you
5.  Do not wait until the last moment to study. . . this being said, do not read it days before class and call it good. You must review the readings!
6. Remember to annotate when reading!
